This month’s seminar topic is “Data-driven decision making, this is how it’s done” !

In this seminar, we will share stories of two people who are actively using data analysis in their work, focusing on real-life cases. CS Team of a securities company There will be a lecture by educational coach Moana titled “CS teams can make decisions with data as well,” and a lecture by Seonmi, a 7-year data analyst and Datarian CEO, titled “Creating a service that grows with data without data infrastructure.” If you want to know how to utilize data analysis in jobs other than data analysts, or if you are curious about whether data analysis can be done in very small organizations without developers or data engineers, be sure to attend the monthly Datarian July seminar.

In Part 2, we will take the time to answer the questions you have sent us. Please write down any questions you have when you fill out the application form. See you next Tuesday (7/26) at 7pm!

Questions received so far!

  1. I'm curious to know how much of the analysis is done through analysis tools like Amplitude or GA versus how much is done using actual queries or coding.
  2. I'm curious about the communication skills that lead to good data-based decision-making. I think persuading decision-makers is important but difficult. Do you have any know-how on how to persuade your superiors?
  3. In the case of service planning, how can data-based decision making be utilized? I am curious about successful cases of data-based decision making and their organizational structures.
  4. I work at a psychological content startup. We conduct psychological tests every month and send out results. We deal with a lot of data, but most of it is qualitative data, so I don't know how to use it for product development.
  5. When suggesting decisions based on data analysis (e.g. communicating with colleagues who don't know the data), what are some things to keep in mind?
  6. I am a general marketer. I do not have any internal data other than product sales, but I would like to know how I can use the data to increase targeting, such as by understanding customer tendencies and products that sell the best. I will pay right away because the title says that data can be used in CS!
  7. What do I need to know first when I first start using data? What should I do when I am overwhelmed by the overall indicators and the big picture?
  8. I'm curious about the difference between not doing growth hacking and doing it. Since the concept of growth hacking is new to me, I don't really get it if it's necessary.
  9. In an environment where data is too much and distributed everywhere, making it difficult for marketers to access, we are constantly being challenged with data. While we say that data is important, decisions are still being made without looking at the data. In this situation, I am worried about how to pursue a data career.
