The instructor said that wild type is good, so I first listened to the JPA and Spring Boot lectures, and created a simple to-do list and bulletin board based on those. Then, I wanted to do something larger, so I tried to just start, but there were many parts that I got stuck on. Since I didn't know the part about parameter processing in the controller or the proper structure of the MVC pattern, I thought I was just memorizing and typing the code. So I started the MVC lecture, and in the early sections, I started to understand the structure little by little, and when I added JPA, which I had learned before, to the simple project part at the end, I felt like the puzzle was coming together. I'm going to quickly go through MVC Part 2 and try a proper project. It was really helpful! I highly recommend the wild type route.
Gretel, thank you so much for listening so intently!!
