koelkorea7927's honest review, LLM Evaluation Harness Engineering Explained by a Silicon Valley Developer course

For people in other fields who do not directly develop or research models, I think this is an excellent lecture that provides technically meaningful knowledge and thought-provoking insights exactly where they are needed, like rain after a drought. These days, the nondeterminism of LLM outputs is widely known. However, it is still difficult to find concrete information about how to construct a black box for evaluating the value and accuracy of such outputs, how people should approach it to adjust and change configuration values, and how they should assess the resulting outputs. I think a topic that addresses these aspects so well is quite meaningful at this point in time.

A welcome relief in a drought… Thank you so much for leaving such a kind comment. What you mentioned about the “black box” really resonates with me. It seems the idea that “AI agents just handle everything well, right?” has run its course, and as a result, we’re seeing a lot more discussion around the question, “Is this safe?”
