I’m a designer in my fourth year. While preparing to change jobs, I kept failing interviews even when I barely managed to pass the application screening. It was frustrating not even knowing why I was being rejected, but through the mock interview, I finally understood what it means to prepare for an interview starting with your portfolio. The person being interviewed looked so much like me that, honestly, it was painful to watch..ㅜ I’m still taking the course, but as I listened to the explanations, I began to understand why interviewers ask certain questions. For the first time, I could clearly see that my portfolio didn’t answer those questions at all, and that this carried over directly into my interviews. Although some things were unavoidable due to the agency environment, I’m going to revise my portfolio with a focus on problem-solving as much as possible, including the things I tried within that environment, and try again. I highly recommend this course to anyone like me who is considering changing jobs from an agency. Thank you for the great course!
