I’ve been preparing to change jobs for a long time and have updated my resume several times. I tried applying approaches such as STAR and PAAR and thought I had written it fairly well, but I kept wondering why I was getting rejected during the resume screening stage so often. However, while taking the course, I realized that other developers may have written their resumes in a similar way to mine, and that my resume might therefore have lacked distinguishing features. Inspired by this course, I completely revised my resume. Going forward, rather than focusing only on what I have written, I think I need to keep refining it while making an effort to view my resume objectively from the perspective of the person reviewing it.
