myzone's honest review, [Direct Lecture by Unreal Authorized Instructor] Developing VR Content with Unreal Engine 5 Without Coding course

VR installation is already available on YouTube (which is the core starting point of this course), and most of the rest of the process consists of explaining blueprints. In the follow-along section (creating a table tennis game), I eventually gave up because it was impossible to follow. (The issue: I applied Physics Simulate and Physics Material, but an error occurred stating that the physics simulation and collision settings were incompatible. The error was only resolved after I changed the Sphere's collision preset, but I couldn't find any explanation in the lecture regarding that specific setup process or the possibility of such an error.) Ultimately, I realized the instructor was recording continuously while checking if things worked as they went... but even so, there shouldn't be any jumps. There are occasional jumps here and there, and it's annoying to have to pause at those exact moments. Conclusion: I gave up on following along and switched to another video. I thought about watching only the parts I might need in the future... but looking at the 12-month enrollment period just makes me laugh.
Hello. I have noted the difficulties you experienced during the practical exercises. As you are using unfamiliar tools, I fully understand the frustration you felt during the learning process. However, I would like to clarify a few points to avoid any excessive misunderstandings. [Conflict Issues in Physics Simulation] When producing the lectures, I verify that every part functions correctly before filming. Since this course is aimed at those with at least a beginner level of knowledge in Unreal Engine, I do not include every single parameter, setup process (such as collision preset settings), or every possible error scenario in the videos. For other individual roadblocks, I provide direct answers through the community (YouTube or Inflearn Q&A). [Regarding the Enrollment Period] Currently, the enrollment period for this course is unlimited. I had previously limited the period intending to update the course in response to the release of the next Meta Quest version, but since that timeline is uncertain, I have removed the time limit so that you can continue to refer to it. [Public Disclosure of Device Connection Methods] The device connection method you mentioned as the "installation method" is available as a preview for this course and is not the core content. The core of the course lies in the VR app development -> packaging procedures and know-how; there are no instances of selling free videos uploaded to YouTube as paid content. This course is designed to contribute to students by building the entire production path from a blank project to VR app packaging, allowing them to experience various trials and errors both directly and indirectly. However, it seems I have caused discomfort to user "Daechi-dong UP" instead. Since this course is for unlimited lifetime ownership, I believe you will be able to acquire technical knowledge much more smoothly if you challenge it after sufficiently solidifying your basics through freely available lectures. Thank you for sharing your opinion.
