As the course title is 'Essential Knowledge for AX Strategic Planning,' I expected practical insights into AI and AX strategic planning, but the actual lecture fell far short of my expectations. First of all, similar conceptual definitions were repeated throughout the lecture, and there was a significant lack of examples regarding how these are applied in practice. While various industries such as finance, manufacturing, and marketing were mentioned, the content remained mostly at a superficial level, with almost no explanation of how AX strategies are established and executed through actual projects or corporate cases. The quality of the lecture materials was also disappointing. The materials consisted mainly of text that appeared to have been written by an early generative AI, and the lecture was often conducted by simply reading the text without visual organization or systematic explanation. It was difficult to feel that sufficient thought and effort had been put into preparing the lecture. Most importantly, despite being a lecture on 'AX Strategic Planning,' the core content that a planner needs to know was missing. Basic planning content and methodologies that must be considered in actual projects—such as data definition methods for AI service planning, data pipeline configuration, Q&A set design, data quality management, and AI service design processes—were hardly covered. Explanations regarding strategy establishment frameworks or practical processes using AI were also lacking. There were also shortcomings in the conceptual explanations. For example, some concepts lacked accuracy or were overly simplified, such as explaining 'data-driven thinking' only as the use of data for AX investment judgment and feasibility studies, or describing document writing with generative AI as 'vibe coding.' Furthermore, the content introduced as practical strategy remained at the level of having generative AI write documents, making it insufficient to gain the strategic thinking and practical skills expected from the course title. Overall, this lecture was somewhat disappointing even for beginners encountering AI concepts for the first time, let alone students wanting to learn the practicalities of AX strategy and AI planning. It is a difficult course to recommend to those expecting the depth and practicality suited to the title 'AX Strategic Planning.'
