I am taking the trouble to leave this post. I believe that charging money for a lecture is a promise of responsibility to provide value equivalent to that cost. However, seeing lecture content that consists of official examples lazily brought in—content that even a first-year Master's teaching assistant wouldn't prepare this poorly—is infuriating. There is almost no substance in the individual lecture chapters, the code explanations are below expectations, and it has been over a year since you replied to someone else's post saying you would upload the code. In the latter half, just throwing out a few sentences and rambling on is so absurd that it makes me angry. If you can't explain asynchrony properly and are just going to read something at the level of an AI summary, you should have left it out entirely. To call it a "chat" section and then provide no code, not even a single paragraph of descriptive explanation, but just a few words while talking aimlessly is ridiculous. It is my fault for purchasing it with the intent to listen later and missing the refund period. I had high expectations because you introduced yourself so confidently at the start. If you had shown even half the expected responsibility, I wouldn't be writing this. But out of sheer absurdity, anger, and disappointment—and in the hope that others do not waste their money like I did—I am leaving this review. A lecture created by a smart sophomore undergraduate using AI would be better than this.
