I am a junior frontend developer applicant. When I first saw the course, I wondered if the content would be more suited for backend or experienced developers. However, after actually listening to it, I found that there was plenty of content that any developer writing a resume could apply, regardless of their role or years of experience. What I especially liked was that instead of teaching formulas or templates like "write it this way to pass," it explained the flow in which a reviewer reads a resume and at what points they feel fatigue. Thanks to this, when I looked at my resume again, I stopped just trying to make the sentences look pretty and started organizing it based on what information the reader would want to see first. I was originally creating my resume in Figma, but I found myself spending too much energy on design and layout every time I made an edit. After taking the course, I realized that the delivery of content is more important than the visual format, so I moved it to Google Docs and reorganized it. In that process, I rewrote my project descriptions—moving away from simply listing the technologies used and focusing instead on why I built it, what problems I tried to solve, and what decisions I made during the process. As a junior frontend developer, I felt the urge to list many projects for fear of looking inexperienced. However, after the course, I realized it is much more important to clearly show what I learned from each experience and the criteria I used for implementation. Even though there were backend-focused examples, the core was about the perspective of making a resume readable rather than specific tech stacks, so it was plenty helpful for a frontend applicant as well. I would recommend this to anyone who feels like their resume isn't coming together despite constant revisions.
