Completed 100% of course

Taking this NestJS course was very helpful as it allowed me to compare it with the backend structures I learned while studying Spring Boot. In particular, NestJS was easy to understand because it shares many similarities with Spring, such as operating on a structure of modules, controllers, services, and dependency injection, while also allowing me to experience the advantages of a TypeScript-based framework. Through the lectures, I was able to reorganize my understanding of not just how to build APIs, but also how to divide project structures and what roles each layer should play. I felt that the approach of handling requests and responses in the Controller, managing business logic in the Service, and structuring by functional units through Modules is highly suitable for practical backend development. Furthermore, by learning about database integration using TypeORM, environment variable management, exception handling, and request data validation through DTOs, I was able to gain overall experience with the essential backend functions required in real-world projects. I specifically thought that because NestJS has a clearly defined structure, it is excellent for maintaining code consistency during collaboration and offers great advantages in terms of maintenance. This course allowed me to move beyond a Java/Spring-centered perspective and realize that Node.js-based backend frameworks can be fully utilized in practical applications. I believe I can actively utilize NestJS in future projects when I need to quickly configure an API server or when TypeScript-based backend development is required. It was an informative course that helped me understand the basic structure and practical application flow of NestJS.
