It took about 10 hours in total to complete the course. I took this course because I wanted to supplement my lacking basic network knowledge before learning TCP/IP socket programming. It was great to be able to learn core network theories without them being too difficult, focusing on the overall flow like a general education class. In particular, being able to listen to explanations while visually confirming the content—much like a blackboard-style lecture—allowed me to follow even fairly complex concepts relatively easily. I think the biggest advantage of this course is that you can gain a perspective to overlook network technologies surrounding the web as a whole. When you first start studying networking, it's easy to feel overwhelmed starting from the OSI 7 layers, so I recommend this as an introductory course for those who, like me, lack a foundation in networking.
