I'm a developer with N years of experience. It might be challenging for complete coding beginners, but I think it's possible if you have the will. I converted all the Python code to Java and have been maintaining and testing it. Still, the code contains the know-how accumulated so far, and I think it's up to the students to maximize it. You shouldn't expect 100% profit, but I've set up notifications and am trying various things.
