I worked as an in-house designer for about 2 years before I started preparing to change jobs. I thought it would be fine since I had a portfolio and wasn't completely without experience, but when I actually started applying, my resume pass rate was so low that my confidence gradually dropped. I wasn't sure what the problem was, so I first attended a free live lecture. I just joined out of curiosity, but as I listened, there was more helpful content than I expected, so I naturally ended up getting consulting as well. What impressed me most about the consulting was that the key points Ancharlady focused on were quite different from what I thought was important from a designer's perspective. I had been organizing my work focusing only on the outputs and results, but it was interesting to learn that they valued more 'why I did it this way' and 'what decisions I made in this process.' At the same time, I thought, ah, that's why I kept getting rejected at the resume stage. It was also good that the challenge wasn't too long, so I could start without feeling burdened. Rather than vague advice, they helped me organize a roadmap for how to prepare going forward, so I felt like I had some direction. Thank you.
