I am a student who is learning about UI/UX for the first time. I was impressed by the part where the course starts with topics of high interest such as job postings, interviews, and portfolios, and gradually explains them in detail through cases and methodologies. Due to this structure, unfamiliar terms (double diamond, journey map, persona, etc.) may appear in the beginning and be difficult. If you organize and familiarize yourself with the terms you don't know and take the class, you will be able to draw the overall picture and solidify the UI/UX content as you go on. I think it would have been boring and difficult to understand if the course had started with the terminology explanation. Above all, it was good to hear about the experiences, know-how, and insights gained from working in the UI/UX field for a long time. I was able to understand how domestic and overseas cases differ and why UI/UX is important and necessary while taking the course. If there is one thing that is regrettable, there are cases where the sound echoes throughout the section that seems to have been filmed during the lecture, making it difficult to hear the content well. There were also cases where the content of the board and reference materials was ambiguous due to the low image quality. I think it would be better if this part was improved. In the theory section, I also thought it would be good to add a section that summarizes the whole thing. There are quite a lot of UX methodologies, and it was easy to miss the big picture while taking the class. If there was a section that summarized at the end, it would be helpful to check the concepts and understand them in a macroscopic way, thinking, “Oh, this concept is included here,” “This is how it’s connected,” etc. I think “Sensitive Design” is a class that provides insight and an overview of the UI/UX field. In addition, it taught me how to continue learning in the future, so I was able to gauge how to learn about the UI/UX field and develop my expertise. It seems difficult to get proper information and insight when you first approach another field. I felt that this was a good lecture for someone who doesn’t know much about UI/UX but wants to learn properly. Thank you for the great lecture, and I hope you will continue to provide great lectures in the future. Thank you.
