I recently took this course and passed the SQLD exam. I am a non-major with a liberal arts background. Although I had only briefly handled MariaDB databases before (for reference, the exam is based on MSSQL and Oracle), I believe that even those with no basic database knowledge will be able to understand it sufficiently after taking this course. After completing this course, I solved the Yellow Book from beginning to end (you must take the course first to properly understand the content of the Yellow Book!), and thanks to that, I was able to pass the SQLD certification without difficulty. It was an easy-to-understand course even for non-majors, and in the lecture, after explaining concepts, they immediately solved example problems together, which led to much better understanding than simply listening to theory alone, and was very helpful for actual problem-solving.
