I guess I have a scholar-type learning style. It always takes me twice as long. I completed this lecture twice as well. I finally understand it after watching it the second time. In the middle, I bought a book to find out how to run a servlet raw in Tomcat, but there wasn't much to it. I thought it would have been nice if it was just added as a section in the lecture. When I first encountered Spring with some Java knowledge, I struggled with the @ syntax for the past year. I regret not taking this lecture sooner, as I could have learned the things I knew superficially through Googling in an easier way. I think I'm starting to understand the @ syntax now. In the end, I'm still using JPA and myBatis in the field, so JPA is still holding me back ^^
SoulKey, you seem to have a scholar-type style like mine :) If you build a solid foundation, including JPA, you'll be able to work even more enjoyably :) I'm cheering for you!
