I applied for this course because I had read the instructor's book before and remembered it being good. The explanations are really detailed, so if you're interested in machine learning, I think it's a worthwhile course to take at least once. It's quite detailed, which makes the lectures long and it can be difficult to keep up, but I really think it's a beneficial course.
