Hello. I am a student who became a bone developer(?). I am currently developing in the wasteland, and I really enjoyed and learned a lot from completing all the JPA and Spring lectures, which are like an oasis. While listening to the last lecture, “Next”, I looked back on myself, who studied after work every day for a year. I will try to become a developer who grows even more and become a true bone developer. Thank you so much ㅠㅠ !! Recently, generative AI came out, so I paid for gpt-4, copilot-x, etc. and tried them out, and I personally feel like my position as a developer is being threatened.. It’s scary.. I would like to hear your senior’s opinion on this part.
starryeye, it's not easy to study consistently for a year, but I'm grateful for your hard work. I feel proud, just like I've spent a year with starryeye. I think GPT will bring about many changes in the future. I think that as time goes by, the simple coding part will improve a lot. However, developers don't just code, they have to take on many roles such as requirement analysis, design, etc., and they also need to verify that the code created by GPT is really correct code. From the developer's perspective, these tools can reduce simple repetitive tasks, so I think they can save time and work more efficiently. Maybe in the future, developers who utilize these tools well will have an advantage. In fact, whenever these tools come out, I get excited every time I think about how to apply them and how to use them more effectively. Haha
