MainActivity 최초 실행시에 Toast가 출력되는 이유?

Service에서 MainActivity로 인텐트를 전달해서 정보를 전달 하고 그것을 받아서 MainActivity에서 Toast로 출력할때 분명 조건으로 if(intent != null)을 넣었음에도 불구하고 최초 실행시에 Toast문이 출력이 되버리는건 왜인가요??
