[Offline] Problem-Solving Iterations of Practical PMs Not Found in Books

Are you struggling alone with vague requirements, endless priority conflicts, and difficult communication with development teams? This challenge is a hands-on workshop where you bring your 'real problems' to learn from leaders' experiences and find solutions together. Rather than one-way lectures, build real skills through discussions, implementation, and retrospectives with peers.

Hello, I'm Seho Park, and I build products at a startup.

I want to share professional and technical stories about building products, as well as my reflections and the process of finding value.

Challenge Introduction

You've had that experience in real PM work where you thought "But the book clearly said to do it this way..." and felt confused, right?

This 8-week challenge is a process where PMs struggling with the gap between theory and reality come together to explore and experiment together on how to solve ambiguous and complex situations that books don't teach you about.

It's not just a simple lecture, but through the process of completing it together to the end,
you'll directly experience the insight that "PM work is not about 'perfect answers' but about 'better approaches'".

The person who created this challenge

I'm an 11-year PM veteran, but I'm still learning.

What decision would be best in each different situation,
how to apply the lessons learned from failures to the next project,
how to communicate better with team members.

"I also Google every day, look up other PMs' posts, and learn through trial and error."

I want to share that real reality together."

You'll learn this kind of content

Topics we'll explore together through 4 meetings

Meeting every two weeks, for a total of 4 sessions, we'll work together to solve the core concerns of real work
Take away small actions that you can experiment with for 2 weeks after each session

"Is this really a problem that needs to be solved?"

How can we define vague and ambiguous requests as concrete problems? Based on participants' actual experiences, we'll explore various approaches to problem definition together and design small experiments suited to each person's situation.

"How on earth am I supposed to communicate with these people?"

We honestly share our experiences of 'translation failures' with developers, designers, and superiors, and explore ways to communicate in the other person's language together. We also share the results of our first week's experiments and learn from each other's trial and error.

"The data looks strange, how do I convince them?"

We analyze moments when important decisions had to be made based on imperfect evidence and study rational judgment and persuasion methods in situations with incomplete information together. We establish action plans that can start with small routines and expand into sustainable growth systems.

"I'm making the same mistake again"

Through experiences of repeating similar mistakes or feeling stagnant in growth, we design individual methodologies to transform trial and error into systematic learning. We also create 3-month experimental plans and mutual growth partnerships.

We learn together in this way

Each session focuses on real-world experience

Let's create these changes together after 4 meetings

The sense of security that comes from not being alone

  • I confirmed that other PMs also have similar concerns

  • The psychological safety that it's okay to not be perfect

  • Confidence that "we can solve it together" even in difficult situations

Realistic problem-solving capabilities

  • A thought process that works in real practice, not just theory

  • The habit of turning failure into learning

  • Flexible responsiveness appropriate to the situation

Continuous Learning Network

  • Connection with colleagues who share similar concerns

  • A channel where we can continue to share each other's experiences

  • There are limits when alone, but together we can continue to grow
